We all remember brands like Sears, Whirlpool, Kenmore, etc. Or in the case of cell phone carriers, The T-Mobile network is also used by Mint, Boost, Consumer Cellular, U.S. Mobile, and others. The concept is called white labeling or affiliate marketing. This can be used in literally any business model. So why do this ?
For starters, the obvious is, you’ll get more customers. Again, think of General Motors, their brands like Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC. It’s simple, more bites at the apple.
If you take this to the world of aviation, customers can be tiered by level of service, type of aircraft, price point, etc.
